OXB is a specialist viral vector CDMO with more than 25 years of experience in viral vector development and manufacturing. The challenge

OXB had recently refreshed its brand identity, but its website had only lightly adopted the new visual direction. The website experience needed to evolve much further to support the company’s marketing goals, better reflect its leadership position in viral vector development and manufacturing, and provide a more flexible platform for future growth.

The existing website also needed to serve as a more practical tool for the internal marketing team. Content editors required a faster, more intuitive backend to update pages, publish new content, manage resources, and respond quickly to business priorities without unnecessary technical bottlenecks.

At the same time, OXB needed its new website to become a stronger marketing asset. That meant improving search visibility, strengthening page-level SEO, creating clearer calls to action, supporting lead generation through embedded Salesforce forms, and building a magazine-style Resource library that could organise and gate valuable scientific content for different audiences.

The website redevelopment was not simply a design refresh. It was a strategic opportunity to turn the website into a flexible, SEO-ready, lead-generation platform aligned with OXB’s commercial ambitions.

The solution

Arttia Creative partnered with OXB to design and develop a new website experience that brought together strategy, creativity, technical delivery, and long-term support.

We began by aligning the new site closely with OXB’s updated brand guidelines, creating a refreshed visual design system that felt modern, credible, and confident while remaining practical for day-to-day content management. The new interface introduced a full-width mega menu with editorial control, sticky navigation, stronger page hierarchy, refined calls to action, and carefully considered motion through CSS animation to enhance engagement without compromising clarity.

Alongside the visual redesign, we developed a flexible backend experience focused on editorial efficiency. OXB’s marketing team needed to move quickly, so the website was structured to make content creation, page updates, metadata editing, featured content selection, and Resource library management straightforward and intuitive.

From a digital strategy perspective, Arttia Creative delivered a strong SEO foundation for launch. This included optimising top-level pages, implementing 301 redirects, creating meta titles and descriptions, and enabling editors to manage metadata manually in the future. We also supported the integration of Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Search Console, creating a stronger measurement framework.

The solution

A key part of the solution was the Resource Library. We designed a magazine-style Resource centre with search and filtering by subject area, content type, and topics, giving OXB a more powerful way to present scientific content. Editors could feature priority content and decide which resources to gate behind Salesforce forms. The library also supported multiple content formats, including articles, research papers, videos, posters, brochures, fact sheets, and case studies, with downloadable PDFs and related content recommendations to encourage deeper visitor engagement.

Functionally, the site was designed to support lead generation and campaign activity through embedded Salesforce forms, newsletter sign-up integration, related content links, and streamlined user journeys.

Arttia Creative delivered more than a new website. We delivered digital strategy, foundation SEO, audience-led content structure, creative design, visual system development, technical implementation, hosting guidance, and the reassurance of ongoing technical and creative support after launch.

This strategic, joined-up approach reflects the same strengths seen across Arttia Creative’s other life sciences website projects, where redesign, SEO, editorial usability, and continued support are central to the outcome.

The results

The OXB website redevelopment created a far stronger digital foundation for growth, visibility, and lead generation.

Their new website better reflects OXB’s authority, innovation, and leadership in viral vector development and manufacturing. The refreshed design brings the new brand to life more consistently, while the improved user experience helps visitors navigate complex information more easily and engage with the business more confidently. Internally, the editorial team benefits from a more manageable backend, enabling faster content updates and reducing friction in day-to-day marketing activity.

Quantifiably, the project introduced measurable structural improvements from launch, including:

  • SEO optimisation on-page
  • 301 redirect implementation to protect existing search equity
  • manual metadata controls for editors
  • integrate Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Search Console
  • embedding Salesforce forms
  • Resources Library
  • structured filtering across topics and content types

Just as importantly, OXB now has the analytics and SEO infrastructure to confidently track future improvements using SEMrush, GA4, and Search Console. It is designed to become an accountable marketing tool.

The conclusion

OXB’s website redevelopment was a strategic digital transformation project, not just a visual refresh. The new website now supports the company’s new brand direction, strengthens its online presence, improves search readiness, and provides a much more efficient publishing experience for internal editors.

By combining clear user journeys, a flexible and editor-friendly CMS, robust SEO foundations, integrated lead capture, and a sophisticated Resource library, Arttia Creative helped position OXB’s website as a powerful platform for marketing, communication, and commercial growth.

The result is a website that better reflects OXB’s stature in the gene therapy and viral vector space while giving its marketing team the tools they need to move faster, publish with confidence, and support lead generation more effectively.

Continued support

At Arttia Creative, we see a new website as the beginning of a stronger digital marketing journey, not the end of the project.

For OXB, continued support means peace of mind after launch. With Arttia Creative as an ongoing partner, the marketing team can rely on expert technical support, creative design input, and SEO insight as the website evolves.

From technical maintenance and search insight to content-led growth and campaign design, Arttia Creative remains on hand to help OXB turn its new website into a long-term driver of visibility, authority, and qualified enquiries.
